Position Summary: The Manager Physician Office Services Representative Offsite ensures the smooth daily operation of the department. This includes maintaining appropriate staffing and equipping employees with the knowledge and supplies needed to provide our physicians and their patients with excellent care and service. They must build relationships with the physicians and their staff in order to be able to identify and troubleshoot any issues. They are often a physician’s first point of contact for concerns regarding MMC. They are challenged with maintain this source of revenue and seeking additional opportunities for this department. The Manager Physician Office Services Representative Offsite is expected to have exceptional customer service and critical thinking skills. Primary Responsibilities: · Develops and maintains departmental statistics, documentation, and reports · Handles all HR functions such as interviewing, hiring, discipline, dismissal, the maintenance of employee files, etc. · Coordinates orientation and training of all new employees · Closely monitors staff and processes seeking opportunities for improvement · Works closely with laboratory director and staff to ensure clinical staff’s compliance with laboratory policies · Provides training and education for staff on a regular basis · Maintains departmental policies and procedures and ensures their enforcement

This position requires, at minimum, a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in the healthcare environment and/or customer service is preferred. A working knowledge of computers and systems to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are necessary. This position requires the ability to communicate in a pleasant, professional, concise, and caring manner. It also requires critical thinking and problem solving to ensure the best care possible for our patients.
