Responsibilities

Perform audits of all  ED accounts to identify appropriate E/M level, supply charges, pharmacy charges and CPT coded procedures for services provided in the ED’s; manual charge entry for appropriate charges based on EMR documentation; perform audits of ED charts and accounts to determine charge corrections; processes appropriate charge corrections on accounts; provides required information regarding drug charge discrepancies to appropriate Pharmacy personnel.

Qualifications

  • High School GED reuqired
  • AL LPN Nursing License strongly preferred
  • Previous clinical experience required
